Research
My research interests are currently in the fields of approximation theory, the mathematical theory of neural networks, statistics, and numerical methods for solving PDEs. A particular emphasis is on the theoretical development and mathematical analysis of machine learning methods for scientific computing. In terms of applications, I also work on the application of machine learning methods to materials science. My work is supported by the National Science Foundation (DMS-2424305 and CCF-2205004) as well as the Office of Naval Research (MURI ONR grant N00014-20-1-2787).
I worked as a postdoc with Professor Jinchao Xu from 2018-2022 and completed my PhD in mathematics from UCLA under the direction of Professor Russel Caflisch in 2018.
Here are my CV and list of publications.
